What SAM keeps
- Your messages to SAM, and what SAM did with them, so it can finish the task and remember what you've asked before.
- Approvals, holds and charges, kept together so any charge can be traced to the yes it came from.
- Files you send and files SAM makes for you, for as long as the task needs them.
- Your name, phone number or Telegram account, which is how SAM knows it's you.
What SAM doesn't keep
Your card number. It goes to Stripe, which stores it; SAM only holds a reference. SAM never asks for passwords and doesn't store any you type into a website on your behalf.
Who else handles your data
Anthropic runs the AI that reads and answers your messages. Cloudflare hosts SAM. Stripe processes payments. Telegram and Meta carry the messages. Each sees only what it needs to do its part.
What SAM never does
Sell your data, show you ads, or message you about anything you didn't ask for. Reminders and routines you set up are the only messages SAM starts.
Your choices
Tell SAM "forget this" and the current conversation's messages are deleted and SAM starts the next one fresh. Tell SAM "delete my account", confirm, and your messages, memory, reminders and card reference are removed right away and any membership is cancelled. Records of purchases you approved, and the tamper-evident log of what SAM did, are kept as the law requires, without your name or contact details.
Questions: message SAM, or write to the address on your Stripe receipt.
